From the Heart of Asia to the Heart of Europe
The Silk Road Community (SRC) at Eötvös Loránd University is a vibrant cultural initiative that brings together students from Central Asia and beyond to celebrate the rich historical, scientific, and artistic legacy of the region.
Rooted in the spirit of the ancient Silk Road — a symbol of exchange, unity, and enlightenment — SRC seeks to unveil Central Asia’s contributions to global civilization, from groundbreaking scholars like Ibn Sina and Al-Khwarizmi to centuries of cultural innovation, art, and resilience.
