the head of a Student Counselling Centre

Rita Takacs is a senior lecturer at Eötvös Loránd University in Hungary (ELTE). She is specializing in Counselling Psychology. She received her PhD, MA and BA at the ELTE. She is the head of a Student Support Centre at Department of Informatics at ELTE, Budapest. In this position she supervises other psychologists and organizes attrition prevention program for students. Her PhD dissertation investigates student retention in higher education and examines the possible psychological characteristics of successful programmers. Her goal is to combine her research knowledge in retention with practical counselling strategies. She is passionate about developing young adults’ personality, and helping them succeed in academic achievements.

Fanni Berta
psychologist

Certified psychologist who received her degree at the Faculty of Education and Psychology of ELTE, with specialization in counselling and educational psychology. 

During her studies she partook in different research projects and organized events for university students. 

As a Student Counsellor and member of the Student Support Centre she is currently working with both Hungarian and international students. 

Lili Berzsenyi

psychologist

Certified psychologist who received her degree at the Faculty of Education and Psychology of ELTE.

During her university studies, she volunteered in the Student Union: organising community events, running training courses and helping students with academic matters. She gained international experience in Scotland through the Erasmus programme.

As a Student Counsellor and member of the Student Support Centre she is currently working with both Hungarian and international students.

Ferenc Csizovszky
psychologist

Certified psychologist, who received his degree at Károli Gáspár Református University in the specialization of Developmental and Clinical Child Psychology.

During his studies, he has volunteered as a peer helper, both in English and Hungarian at the university, gaining valuable insight to the everyday problems and troubles of students.

He currently works as a Student Counsellor at the Student Support Centre and he is responsible for Hungarian and international students.

Anna Gogibedasvili
psychologist

Certified psychologist, graduated on the Faculty of Education and Psychology of ELTE, with specialization in counselling and educational psychology.
Anna’s multicultural background and 5-years’ experience of living abroad gives her a first-hand understanding of the challenges of moving to a new location or generally adapting to a new environment. In the DTK she is there on the Szombathely campus to help and support national and international students in their university life and success.

Benedek Gyimesi
psychologist

Certified psychologist and PhD student. He graduated from the Faculty of Education and Psychology at ELTE, specializing in Developmental and Clinical Child Psychology, and is currently pursuing his doctoral studies at the Doctoral College of Semmelweis University. His research focus is on mental disorders in young people. During his university years, he worked as a volunteer and later as an operator manager at the child helpline of the Kék Vonal Child Crisis Foundation, where he gained years of experience in supporting young people facing difficulties. He is currently working at the Student Support Centre, where he is responsible for the psychological care of both international and Hungarian students.

Albert Mihály
psychologist

He completed his Master degree at the Faculty of Education and Psychology of ELTE (ELTE PPK) with a specialization on Counselling and Educational Psychology. He graduated a counselling psychology specialist postgraduate programme for Counselling Psychologist at ELTE PPK. As a Student Counsellor he is primarily working with hungarian students.

Irén Anna Murányi
psychologist

Psychologist, a certified counselling psychology specialist, studied at ELTE Faculty of Education and Psychology. She offers counselling on life management and crisis counselling for staff members of the Faculty of Informatics and provides professional supervision for the psychologist colleagues working there.

Viktória Nagy
psychologist


Viktória completed her Master degree at the Faculty of Education and Psychology of ELTE with a specialisation on Counselling and Educational Psychology. She wrote her Master Thesis on Gamification of Career Management Trainings. She volunteered at a Help Hotline for Gambling.
Viktória was responsible for American, Israeli and international children and youngsters in New York State as a psychologist after finishing her studies. She also conducted research in Austria on workplace health and well-being.
She currently works as a Student Counsellor at the Student Support Centre and is responsible for international students.

Anett Pásztor-Nagy
psychologist


She completed her Master degree at the Faculty of Education and Psychology of ELTE (ELTE PPK) with a specialization on Counselling and Educational Psychology. She graduated a counselling psychology specialist postgraduate programme for Counselling Psychologist at ELTE PPK. As a Student Counsellor she is primarily working with hungarian students. She is the special needs coordinators at the Faculty of Informatics.

Our Teachers

Gábor Nagy Dr.

Gábor Nagy graduated in mathematics from Eötvös Loránd University. As an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Algebra, he teaches subjects in Discrete Mathematics and Mathematics Fundamentals.
Within the DTK, he performs coordination tasks, liaising with mentor trainers and senior students.

Pál Sarmasági

He graduated from ELTE in 1991, and has worked as a developer and operator in industry. As a PhD student at ELTE IK, he teaches programming to foreign students. His research interests are talent search and talent management, partly focusing on the application of methods in corporate culture for students. Talent management is an integral part of DTK’s work and she joined the team.
