We would like to invite you to our workshop “Self-awareness Through Video Games“, which will be held on 24 May (Wednesday) from 16:00-19:00, in the South building of ELTE Lágymányos Campus, room 2.402.
Our attitudes towards the different elements of video games, such as game mechanics, storytelling, or even the social experience, can serve as a tool for self-awareness if we give time and space to become aware of our experiences with them and to reflect on them.
The aim of our workshop is to explore our preferences, attitudes and behaviours in games through interactive activities and structured discussion, and not only to ask but also to answer questions such as: What am I playing and what does it tell about me?
Participation is free but registration is required.
If you register for the workshop, you will be asked to fill in the “Gamers Motivation Profile” questionnaire, which you can do after a quick registration at the following link: https://apps.quanticfoundry.com/
(the questionnaire takes about 15 minutes to complete)
Please bring your results with you, as we will need them during one of the activities during the workshop! 😉
We look forward to seeing you!
