Then apply to be a senior in the 2024/2025 fall semester of the Learning Methodology course (BSc) and Preparation course for master studies and developing learning skills (MSc)!  

What does it mean to be a senior?

Helping freshmen integrate into university life in mentor classes* starting in the fall alongside a faculty mentor teacher. A senior student is a great help for new students, who can discuss questions and share their experiences.
Seniors participating in the autumn also get a demonstrator contract, so that as a young student you can make the most of your extra responsibilities.

* 45 minutes per week for BSc, 90 minutes per week for MSc at a time that suits your schedule  

How to become a senior?

To become a senior, apply by 25 April 2024 (Thursday, 23:59)

FILL IN THE FORM,

which includes a motivation letter or a motivation video – the letter can be written at the end of the form, the video is sent to studentconsult@inf.elte.hu by 24 April! In your motivation letter, please briefly explain why you would like to be a senior and what you hope to gain from your participation!

The following sessions are a mandatory part of the senior training after the application:
1. Tuesday, April 30, 2023, between 16:00 and 19:00, a personal meeting where we can get to know each other and talk about your motivations and the senior role.
2. a faculty-funded senior away trip (expected dates 20-22 June, Thursday afternoon to Saturday, exact date and location to be confirmed), where you will get to know your senior peers in depth and develop skills you may need for group leadership through training. The training will take place in the evening of the first day and from morning to evening on the second day, when we will be expecting the participation of senior candidates. And for those who wish to stay on site for the third day.
There will be no exam at the end of the training, your suitability is linked to your participation in the training and your experience, so we are counting on your attendance!
